Sugar kettles have grown tremendously in popularity over the last several years. It is not uncommon to find them in front of several houses within a neighborhood being used as a water garden or flower bed, especially in the south. Many offices and apartments have also begun to use them as a way to distinguish their landscaping from others around them. Border Imports carries a variety of kettles in both cast iron and fiberglass, with all the accessories you would need to create your own unique garden feature. Several uses are described below and many more are beign created every season. Please do not hessitate to call or stop by with your questions and we will be happy to help you get started.

Some water feature uses are as follows:
1) As a water garden itself (self-contained and easy to maintain)
2) As a catch pond for a water fall (could either be the pond or just an over-flow for a larger pond below)
3) Use different sized kettles for a tiered fountain effect.
4) As the bottom bowl for a fountain with a raised fountain statue in the middle.
5) As a rain water catch for irrigation of a garden.

Other uses include:
1) As a fire pit (cast iron works only)
2) A dry planter or large flower pot (a whole garden could be planted in a larger kettle)
3) As a grill (again cast iron only with addition of a grill top or cooking plate)
